Planet earth… is beginning its final days. Like the birthpangs of a woman in hard labor, with each passing day, the turbulence increases. Unrest has swept the globe. Fear plagues us. If they can get away with murder, they will. Even though they fake it well, such men and women have no real conscience.
It’s hard to fathom these people. Many of the members of the secretive shadow government organizations believe the world is overpopulated. They want to reshape society into a totalitarian system of their own design, with a dramatic reduction in world population. How will they achieve that? By orchestrating events which will take billions of lives! Believe it or not, they are already working on ways to sterilize much of the world and also to unleash so-called “natural disasters” like a swine flu or ebola pandemic. Killing billions would mean nothing to a pure psychopath, because—after all—it’s for the “greater good”.
So if you are sitting in front of your television set, oblivious to the ramifications of what’s happening around us, you are in for a brutal awakening. We all need to open our eyes. When the Lord foretells the future, he almost always tells those who are hearing about the coming event about how they have sinned. He reveals this to them because the main purpose of prophecy is to elicit in our hearts a change of opinion about sin. That change of mind is called repentance. More than anything else, God wants that from us. If we don’t change our heart about the exceedingly sinfulness of sin, we will not change. And if we do not change, the prophecy is really in vain. We will die in our sins and will spend an eternity apart from Him in hell.
The human heart is so hard, I don’t even think that a nuclear war—which is certainly the result of evil—would discourage people from clinging to their idolatrous beliefs and behavior. They’ll just curse God for the wrath that has come upon the earth. People will lay the blame back on God for not stopping the terrible things that are happening, which men have initiated by their own sin. Even as all of these calamities befall the world, men will not repent about their behavior but instead will blaspheme God for what’s happening.
The Bible is clear that in the final days the world’s hatred for God will increase and Christians will face some difficult times. The Bible also teaches us that a wise man prepares for challenging seasons so when they come he will be prepared.
Throughout my life I have been caught unprepared several times and while nothing seriously bad happened, it easily could have. I managed to get myself out of each situation, I thanked God, and tried to learn from my mistakes. I have also tried to learn from the mistakes of others so as to not learn everything the hard way.I aspire to be more prepared the next time. My preparedness includes many different aspects. In my opinion, the most important thing I have done is to learn as much as possible about what to expect and how to deal with those situations.
