MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS FROM groundzeromedia.org
From the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, state and local governments responded in various ways from issuing emergency orders, citywide shutdowns to school closures and beyond but it’s the suspension of various laws and regulations that is exposing the unnecessary political agendas that are being seen as a way to burn down America and start over with a new dorm of government.
As often happens during emergencies, governors and mayors across the country have used executive power to waive laws and bypass regulations.
Various states have shut down the water to supply so that only essential operations can flourish—they are blocking gun sales—and prohibiting the prescribing of medications during the pandemic.
The structuring of social distancing is also posing a problem for civil rights.
We all want things to go back to normal quickly. But what most of us have probably not yet realized—yet will soon—is that things won’t go back to normal after a few weeks, or even a few months. Some things never will.
As long as someone in the world has the virus, breakouts can and will keep recurring without stringent controls to contain them. In a report, yesterday researchers at Imperial College London proposed a way of doing this: impose more extreme social distancing measures every time admissions to intensive care units start to spike and relax them each time admissions fall.
No one can imagine this push me pull you way of life and I promise that no one will live this way without putting up a fight or ignoring the suggestions completely.
Under this model, the researchers conclude, social distancing and school closures would need to be in force some two-thirds of the time, roughly two months on and one month off until a vaccine is available, which will take at least 18 months.
In the short term, this will be hugely damaging to businesses that rely on people coming together in large numbers: restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, gyms, hotels, theaters, cinemas, art galleries, shopping malls, craft fairs, museums, musicians and other performers, sporting venues (and sports teams), conference venues (and conference producers), cruise lines, airlines, public transportation, private schools, day-care centers. That’s to say nothing of the stresses on parents thrust into home-schooling their kids, people trying to care for elderly relatives without exposing them to the virus, people trapped in abusive relationships, and anyone without a financial cushion to deal with swings in income.
This disease is killing people and as the media focuses on the gravitas and as we respond to it – our lives will never be the same and our governments will not relinquish their newfound powers.
The politicians and the media have now succeeded in weaponizing uncertainty.
Religion used to do it in the times of the plague – they would chain a man to a plank with the bubonic plague to show what would happen if you did not repent. Now the same tactic is being used to coerce people into giving up their rights and freedoms.
Unwelcome news is automatically rebranded fake news only until it meets the approval of a political agenda and then the go-to dismissal of all questioning is that it all boils down to science and that faith and optimism are not approved.
The media and the new dictators that wield power are now hiring mercenary scientists as spokespeople to fulfill a crucial role as accessories to their misrepresentations.
Yesterday there was a mountain of vicious attacks on Facebook, some of them on my forum dealing with COVID-19. Some of them were critical of the show where Facebook patrons would say that I do too many shows on the topic and others who were attacking other listeners for questioning the government overreach.
Well, it comes as no surprise that the nastiest attacks came from people who felt that questioning any and all moves by the state government were the equivalent to spitting on “science.”
This, of course, is the latest trend—you question the government overstepping their boundaries or if you share Donald Trump’s misguided optimism about opening up the government by Easter you now become a person who is anti-science.
Of course, this is a political form of gaslighting where it is now imperative to make sure that anyone who is cynical of the leviathan measures being leveled against Americans is labeled anti-science.
What exactly is The Survival MD GUIDE?
It’s an extremely detailed (downloadable) eBook (You can also order a physical paper copy as I do with any of these products when it’s an available option) with 206 pages of information about medical preparedness on or off the grid.
Medical preparedness is one area where so many otherwise great survival plans can fall short.
Have you put your efforts into prepping only with firearms, bug out bags, and outdoor survival skills? None of those skills are worth beans if you’re sick, injured or dead! Watch this video for a better understanding of WHY
The problem with this form of coercion is that it is just as dishonest and counter-intuitive as being overly or disproportionately optimistic at this moment in time.
Everyone is looking forward to the day when they are told that we can return to the situation normal – but it appears that the media and some members of the CDC are certainly stoking the fires of fear and weaponizing uncertainty which does nothing but creates more problems.
I want to first talk about the “science” argument.
Scientific “consensus” is a popular buzzword that has been weaponized for the sake of dismissal. When people start to question the political relationship with certain sciences– like Climate science — they are told that there is a scientific consensus that is supposed to shut every argument down. Using the term is simply a program for people that have no argument to back up any and all of their rigid and quite obviously unfounded claims.
If you follow their nonsense you are a righteous justice warrior – if you question the credibility you are evil and a denier of science.
This is called for a lack of a better explanation, “virtue signaling.” I call it Cheap talk or Chump talk.
Virtue signaling, in short, is the use of sweeping, lofty language to signal how virtuous you are while circumventing substantive action. Basically, you demean systems and general practices on the macro level while still subscribing to them on a micro-level.
Chances are, all of the young people who are now attacking President Trump for his misguided optimism about reopening the country are the same people who flocked to the beaches during spring break in defiance of a lockdown.
Again they love to give you a talk about how smart they are –when they secretly are not practicing what the preach.
We are living in times where if the President were to tell you that the sky is blue – there would be a number of top scientists that would be paid a lot of money to on CNN and explain how the sky cannot be blue because there are some traces of white in the sky or that air itself is transparent and that science states unequivocally that the sun sends out different colored wavelengths that bump up against the air making it impossible to determine the exact color of the sky.
Of course, technically this is the truth but generally because the blue and violet wavelengths get scattered most by the air, the sky appears blue.
But see this type of talk and this type of anal signaling means nothing in the big picture.
The sky, when there are no clouds is blue. If CNN has a scientist to say something different – then it must be the truth and there are plenty of experts out there that will tell you THIS IS “SCIENCE” and that the President is a science denier.
The principles of scientific inquiry involve testing a hypothesis by exploring uncertainty around it until there is a sufficient weight of evidence to reach a reasonable conclusion. Proof can be much longer in coming, and consensus still longer.
The product-defense industry subverts these principles, weaponizing the uncertainty inherent in the process. Its tricks include stressing dissent where little remains, cherry-picking data, reanalyzing results to reach different conclusions and hiring people prepared to rig methodologies to produce funders’ desired results.
Using words and comments from the media is cheap talk, quick and easy to twist, and they aren’t accurate cues of underlying traits or values. When partisans on social media talk about science, they’re usually referring to this sort of cheap talk.
There are also plenty of amateur conspiracy theorists that have also pushed their cheap talk as well. Trying to convince everyone that COVID-19 is basically is a cover for mass arrests of pedophiles, that it is simply the flu, that it is all connected to 5G and that things like modified bleach and colloidal silver are cures for COVID-19.
Well, believe what you want but this also counterintuitive.
When quack “cures” are being peddled, it is counterintuitive to those who are honestly helping people by offering supplements to help people build their immune systems.
The media and the CDC are also getting into the act of vilifying alternatives to vaccines including pharmaceutical drugs that can be used to treat COVID-19.
The truth is that there are Nearly 70 drugs and experimental compounds that may be effective in treating the coronavirus.
Some of the medications are already used to treat other diseases and repurposing them to treat Covid-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus may be faster than trying to invent a new antiviral from scratch.
The list of drug candidates appeared in a study published on the web site bioRxiv. The researchers have submitted the paper to a journal for publication.
Chloroquine, lopinavir, and remdesivir top the list as possible drugs that can be used to treat COVID-19.
Other drugs include Tilorone, Cyclosporine, Loperamide, Mefloquine, Amodiaquine, Proscillaridin, Digitoxin, Digoxin, Hexachlorophene, Hydroxyprogesterone caproate, Salinomycin, Ouabain, Cepharanthine, Ciclesonide, Oxyclozanide, Anidulafungin, Gilteritinib, Berbamine, Tetrandrine, Abemaciclib, Ivacaftor, Bazedoxifene, Niclosamide, and Eltrombopag.
Now, many of those drugs have not been mentioned by the CDC or The World Health Organization as possible treatments.
But one drug Chloroquine was mentioned by President Trump as a treatment that shows promise in helping patients. This drug has been effective in treating Malaria cases. The drug has been approved as safe and has been on the market for 65 years. It is now being prescribed in France and studies are saying it works.
It is inexpensive it is safe and if approved for treating COVID-19 – it would certainly help.
This is how science works – it is about testing, it is about finding repeating successes and then to effectively bring forward results of the tests that are conducted.
The only hurdle that is holding back its use is the attacks and unfounded lies that the media is now spinning about it.
Immediately the media jumped on Trump’s recommendation and began the process of vilifying the drug by spinning half-truths to the public.
CNN reported that President Trump was “peddling unsubstantiated hope in dark times.”
Then, in all of the confusion, a man and his wife, who again proves the point of the number’s taken in Darwin’s waiting room—decided to ingest fish tank cleaner because one of the main ingredients was Chloroquine phosphate. The man died – his wife was critical.
Immediately the media scrambled to say that President Trump was literally responsible for this – and that he was putting lives in danger,
The media also reported that the man attempted to self-medicate with the drug rather than saying that it was not the drug but an additive in a poisonous substance. The man ate or drank the aquarium cleaner and not Chloroquine. The media has failed to make sure that the people know this.
Then they reported that three Nigerians overdosed on Chloroquine and blamed it on Trump’s recommendation.
It is hard to convince people that COVID-19 is a threat when people can see that there is a political agenda being pushed by the media. This is where we find people questioning what is being billed as “Science” when it is obvious that it is all politics.
Rachel Maddow at MCNBC Tweeted:
“During these briefings, Trump has lied that the virus is ‘something that we have tremendous control over’.” “He has promoted an unproven drug treatment.” “He is spreading misinformation that could actually put people’s lives in danger.”
Well, it appears that weaponizing what the President has said has its consequences.
For example, demand for chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine surged over the past several days. Hydroxychloroquine, sold under the brand name Plaquenil, is approved to treat lupus and rheumatoid arthritis while chloroquine is an anti-malarial treatment that is now facing shortages as people are demanding the drugs from their doctors.
There are some Doctors that are hoarding these drugs by writing prescriptions for themselves and their families
A pharmacist in Houston, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation and violating patient privacy, said he was recently asked by a surgeon for an unusually large quantity with unlimited refills. “He said it was because his wife had lupus,” the pharmacist said, “but when I asked him for her name and diagnosis, he told me just to put it in his.”
Lupus patients are reporting difficulty in refilling their prescriptions for the drug. On Monday, the Lupus Foundation of America issued a joint statement asking the White House Coronavirus Task Force to “take action to ensure current supplies are allocated for patients taking them for indicated uses.” Several states in the past few days have already moved to limit prescriptions of the drugs.
Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak has signed an emergency order barring the use of these drugs for someone who has the coronavirus.
Sisolak said in a statement that there’s no consensus among experts or Nevada doctors that the drugs can treat people with COVID-19. His order also limits a prescription to a 30-day supply to ensure it’s available for “legitimate medical purposes” and so that people cannot find a way to stockpile the drug.
Sisolak says that he made the decision after hearing about the man who ate aquarium cleaner where chloroquine phosphate was the ingredient.
The Governor did not warn people to not eat or drink aquarium cleaner that eats algae but has barred the use of a drug that may help. Doctors are hoarding a drug that the media says does not work—interesting to see how this seems to be ironic.
This is evidence of a political agenda. There are many media outlets that have seceded to drop Trump’s press conferences calling them outright lies.
Meanwhile, as these drugs being reviewed for hope in combating COVID-19, the media who now uses the slogan “Facts not Fear” is reporting that Hospitals on the front lines of the pandemic are engaged in a heated private debate over a calculation few have encountered in their lifetimes – how to weigh the “save at all costs” approach to resuscitating a dying patient against the real danger of exposing doctors and nurses to the contagion of coronavirus.
The conversations are driven by the realization that the risk to staff amid dwindling stores of protective equipment – such as masks, gowns, and gloves – may be too great to justify the conventional response when a patient “codes,” and their heart or breathing stops.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago has been discussing a universal do-not-resuscitate policy for infected patients, regardless of the wishes of the patient or their family members – a wrenching decision to prioritize the lives of the many over the one.
This is hope? This is optimism? This is a means to a Eugenics directive.
I warned my listeners that this would happen even before anyone felt a throat tickle. I was talking about the movie, Soylent Green, which is a science fiction story that takes place in 2022.
In the story, the elderly are actually encouraged to end their lives voluntarily.
It’s a disturbing thought but not a new one. State-assisted mass suicide has been a recurring motif of postwar science fiction. As the impacts of pollution and resource pressures multiplied, it became easy to imagine a future hostile to the comforts and pleasures of old age – a future where the young see the old as a liability to the survival of the planet.
The novel upon which “Soylent Green” is based, Harry Harrison’s 1966 “Make Room! Make Room!” depicts a state of open generational warfare.
Its opening pages find a gangland version of the AARP called “the Eldsters” marching in a protest from Madison Square Garden to Union Square. Their 65-year-old leader, Kid Reeves, urges militant protests against cuts to their rations of plankton-protein stores. Food riots in the city ensue and the older generations feel that they are being singled out for death because of resource depletion.
It all goes back to what I have said about the wisdom of repugnance. The term originated in discussions of bioethics. It is often used by those who accept its underlying premise; i.e., that repugnance does, in fact, indicate wisdom. It is thus often viewed as loaded language and is primarily used by certain bioconservatives to justify their position.
In other words, you must give up some luxuries for sustainable living – you must adapt or perish. The wisdom of repugnance has been criticized, both as an example of a fallacious appeal to emotion and for an underlying premise which seems to reject rationalism.
We all have to make choices in times like these some are repugnant but over time become a necessary evil.
It was the same premise for scientists and politicians to encourage eugenics.
All of this alarmist yarn needs to be exposed and someone needs to go back into history and show that this type of political mingling in science was responsible for the eugenics programs that were devised by the elite and the eventual holocaust of an estimated 6 million Jews, homosexuals, and immigrants.
Oh, but the media and uncaring politicians will tell you it is science. Soon it will be in their science to promote a new kind of world socialism where the young will be in power.
Circa 1900, influential intellectuals and scientists in Europe and the U.S. voiced concerns about uncontrolled procreation causing a supposed decline in the quality of human beings. They reported that the overpopulation of people with bad genetics would certainly lead to a pandemic. and when it happened it all was of course attributed to those who were seen as lower on the genetic chain. The objective was to remove the burdens on society.
These were the same ideas that not only flourished in an America with the likes of Margaret Sanger pushing eugenics but also Adolph Hitler proposing the sifting of human material.
Look who is being targeted now – the elderly who are just too much of a burden now we are in the midst of a pandemic or should we call it a pandemic.
Now we know why movie theaters have closed because real life is far more outrageous and terrifying than any movie.
I highly recommend this book to everyone. 300 pages, color, paperback. The Lost Book of Remedies is helping Americans achieve medical self-sufficiency even in the darkest times using the time-tested methods of our grandparents without spending lots of money on toxic drugs and without side effects. A great asset when doctors and hospitals won’t be available any more given the current situation. You may not be Claude Davis, but you can make use of his procedures and techniques to increase your chances of survival!
